Dabble creates web video bookmarks

dabbleThis is very cool, although I haven't received an invite yet, but Dabble creates something Om Malik is coining as videomarks. Om has details on his blog, but Dabble gives you a personal page where you can drop videos from almost any web source: youTube, Veoh, etc. So it's like an online video aggregator. According to Om, it's all very slick and easy to use. More importantly, around 20 companies which provide video are going to hook in to Dabble, providing that all-important metadata which turns mere video content into video content with contextual information. In other words, you won't always have to type in things like title, author, genre. It's also pretty cool that you can create playlists, as I'm all the time just rooting around my favorites to show co-workers and friends those "wacky" videos scattered across the interwebs. Dabble aims to eliminate this clutter. Again, I haven't seen any of this, but to hear Om describe it, sounds very interesting. If and when my invite arrives, I'll provide some screenshots and more functionality reports.
