Sunrise is has been superseded by Sunrise XP which is currently in early development but works quite well. The developer is no longer going to make Sunrise XP a commercial app but will release it as freeware. Some upcoming features include Flickr, del.icio.us, and Bloglines web service integration, as well as, a Firefox extension for Sunrise XP. I am one of those users who use Sunrise. I find it to be a more simple and powerful version of the Plucker desktop.
