Adblock is an excellent
Firefox extension but has its failings. Among my Adblock pet peeves are its lack of a whitelist and general absence of
options.
Adblock
Plus is an extension that tries to succeed where Adblock does not. It (as of version 0.6) is a complete rewrite of
Adblock that does everything its successor does but adds whitelisting, preferences to control how it behaves, and a
sidebar that will show you all of the objects on a page and let you choose what to block.

Adblock plus 0.6 is considered a fork and is actually the 2nd adblock plus and should more appropriately be called adblock plus-light for it's small footprint/missing features.

Adblock Plus is even better when you install the Adblock Filterset.G Updater extension.
"This extension automatically downloads the latest version of Filterset.G every 4-7 days. Filterset.G is an excellent set of filters maintained by G for Adblock that blocks most ads on the internet."

Glad to see you are reccomending tbis, I found it a few weeks back, and it is definately a plus over adblock.

I upgraded to the latest version of AdBlock last night and the new version has lots more features - including whitelists.
