Google News out of beta?!

Yes, you read that right. Google News, which since its debut more than three years ago has carried that little "BETA" designation, is now out of beta. It's confirmed by a post on the official Google blog, but little indication is given as to why its beta status has suddenly been removed. It's still the same Google News it was last week, but maybe this week it's feeling a bit more mature.
