Gmail gets a real Delete button
Since its debut, people have been scratching their heads over Gmail's mysterious lack of a one-click Delete button, and went to great lengths to make it easier to send messages to the trash. Finally Google gave in and this week Gmail got a wee tiny update, and now there's finally a real Delete button right next to "Report Spam." We knew you'd come around, Google.

Not for me. Mind you, I still haven't had seen the "send from" functionality they put in over 6 months ago appear on my version as well.

I have the firefox extension that adds a Gmail delete button (greasemonkey script, I think) installed and I haven't seen a second delete button appear... My Firefox extension delete button appears to the left of the Archive button.

Looks like, the bonus functions (including send from, web clips and delete button) are only available in the US english localisation of Gmail.

I was using the Greaskmonkey delete button feature. Today the Delete button showed up on my Gmail account so now i had two delete buttons. I turned off the script and still have it.

UK based and no Delete button here either - or webclips, or send from. I don't understand why they don't just roll out these new features quicker for all of us.

U.S. here and I don't have it. Although I did have the webclips for months before it was announced to the public.

If wou want this button (and the web clips feature) try switching your language settings to English (US). I changed mine from English (UK) as I'm in England and lo and behold - the button and webclips appeared!!
