Newsgator's killer app is server synchronozation, and it also includes the outlook reader in a subscription fee. It also bought FeedDemon as a standalone app and continues development on it.
On the surface, this seems to hurt them a lot more than when you dig deeper.

I looked at NewsGator and it was very nice but also expensive.
What is a good free Windows RSS aggrigator? I'm currently using FeedReader which is so-so (my major complaints being that sometimes it duplicates postings and that the pop-up alert always steals focus from the application you're currently using) but I would be interested in other peoples recommendations.
