There are a lot of
ways to hide your e-mail address from web-crawling spambots, but there are few that actually work and don't require
eitehr some JavaScript or some server-side code.
SpamFreeze is a
method that works anywhere without JavaScript and without any server-side scripts. You enter your e-mail address into
SpamFreeze and it gives you a link that you can post anywhere instead of your e-mail address. When someone clicks on
the link, they have to pass a CAPTCHA (i.e. "type the letters shown in the image") test before they get to
see your e-mail address.

why not just use server side scripting? any place where you have the ability to post must have scripting available, and seems like a smoother solution then using 3rd party. It still requires server side scripting, its just not on your end.
