NetBSD 3.0 released
Friday saw
the final release of version 3.0 of the open source
Unix-like OS NetBSD. From the announcement: "NetBSD 3.0 continues our long tradition with major improvements in
stability, performance, networking, security, also includes support for two new platforms (iyonix and hp700), and many
new peripherals." The changelog is extensive so I won't even try to summarize it here, but suffice it to say
there's a ton of improvements in this release.
