If there's one thing you can say
about 37signals is that you can never quite guess what they're going to do next. Yesterday Jason Fried announced on the
company blog that 37signals' next project is Sunrise, a
CRM
(Customer Relationship Management) tool for small businesses. "From our vantage point," Fried writes,
"the current CRM offerings for small business are 1. Too complex, 2. Too confusing, 3. Overkill, 4. Detached from
the real experience of a small business (aka too "enterprisey"), and 5. Ugly." They plan to demo the new
app in January at their
Getting Real Workshop.
