Pretend your Pocket PC is an iPod
I can think of fifty reasons to make your Pocket PC act like an iPod, but none of them are very good. Nevertheless, J4L Tech has released a bit of software that "works exactly like an iPod" but runs on your Pocket PC, which is to say that it mimics the look of your iPod and its GUI on your handheld. Details are scarce, so I can't say whether it does photo or video functions or some of the iPod's more esoteric functions, but I'm sure there's someone out there who might find this useful.[Via Digg]

Last time somebody tried this (a couple of years ago) Apple shut them down-- fast. Get it while you can!

This is flat out bootleg software. It was first made by StarBrite Ltd., which is now aparently defunct. The install even goes so far to package a keygen. This isn't the first time you guys have linked to illegal software... do you guys really want to be known as a warez site? Bush league stuff, guys. Check out the software before you link to it.

The guys here at work thought it was kinda cool. But we really didn't see any use in it, until one fellow said "have you tried putting an mp3 on there?" I threw some on my MMC card and...wow, that's cool.
