99 useful Run commands
If you're like me, you probably use Windows' Run box more often than you use the Start menu. To that end, FixMyXP.com has a list of 99 Useful Run Commands, i.e. stuff you can type into the Run box to get stuff done faster. Chances are you won't find all 99 useful, and you probably already use some of them daily (e.g. I couldn't live without "cmd" and "calc"), but there are a few gems nonetheless. And in case you're still using the mouse to open the Run box, try pressing the Windows key and R.

With all that, I can't believe they left out one of my favourites. When I come across a site Opera has trouble with, such as parts of MySpace, I copy the URL and enter in the run dialogue "iexplore http://some.url"

That site doesn't appear to be up anymore. Alternative link anyone?

The link still works fine for me, Martin.

Windows R is the reason why I dislike my tablet keyboard - it has no windows key.
And as I work often time on the commandline with unix tools, this is really a bummer. But the list is good to save because sometimes one need the file names - and this is a handy list. :)

don't forget that you can always drop shortcuts in your windows installation folder and access those via run. for example, creating c:windowswinamp.lnk will allow you to run it form the run box by typing 'winamp'
