I'm not sure when, but at some point like these Flash point-and-click escape games really exploded. You know the kind: You're trapped in some odd locale and you have to collect seemingly benign items, follow obique clues, and generally put things together and push buttons until you find the exit.
Submachine is one such game, and perhaps the only thing that sets it apart is that it's a little more oblique than most. You're stuck in a curious wood-paneled environment whose rooms are filled with strange objects, like bells that control levitating boxes and something resembling a grandfather clock. Put everything together in the right way, and you just might escape. It's not the most sophisticated challenge, but solving it is a fun—if brief—diversion.

Very fun game, I love those sorts.
On another topic, I was browsing search plugins for Fire Fox and I found almost one for every blog I read, except DLS, so I made one. If anyone can find it useful, you can find it at: http://mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html?name=downloadsquad&submitform=Find+search+plugins
