Bookmark Tags does pretty much what you'd guess: It lets you organize your bookmarks with tags instead of folders. When you create a new bookmark you can specify as many tags as you want, and then when you want to find a bookmark you can either select the tags you want or type them in. There are also quite a few more advanced features, so even if you're happy with your current system (be it Firefox's built-in bookmarks or a site like del.icio.us), it's still worth checking out.

This looks really cool, but it is not compatible with Firefox RC3.

This reminds me again of Powermarks (http://www.kaylon.com/power.html) which is (was?) the best bookmark application I ever tried. It used tags before tags were cool, and had many features to help maintain your list, like batch checking for updates and obsolete links, and syncing multiple installations with a central server. I say "was" because their site hasn't been updated since '03 and I've gotten no response to several e-mails.
