Time Warner board to get update on possible AOL deal

Time Warner's board is set to get an update today on AOL's negotiations to partner with Microsoft and/or Google, according to press reports. As previously reported, the company is in negotiations with several companies, including Microsoft and Google, over a possible partnership in the online content business. Reports are that discussions with Microsoft and Google are "robust," while talks with other potential partners, such as Yahoo, are still at an early stage.
