Upcoming.org acquired by Yahoo!

To nobody's surprise, but to the delight of many, the social event calendar site Upcoming.org has been acquired by Yahoo! The site, which has all sorts of Web 2.0 and syndication goodness like RSS feeds, tagging, iCal, and so on, will continue as a separate entity but its data will be integrated into Yahoo! Local.
