Beta test Microsoft's OneCare
Microsoft has been talking about OneCare for a while now. Eventually OneCare will provide anti-virus, firewall, anti-spyware, and backup tools for a subscription fee. But if you want a sneak peek, there is apparently a way to get in on the beta testing. I found this nugget via Lockergnome, who, in turn, gleaned the deets from WXPnews:"To sign up, you’ll need a Passport account. Point your Web browser to the Microsoft Beta site and sign in with your Passport username and password, then enter “OneCare” (without the quotation marks) in the guest ID field."
What will the Microsoft Corporayion think of next? Here's hoping Office 13 is subscription too.
