Free font editor in Windows
It's no Fontographer, but it is there, and it does work. Some think it's a Trojan, but it wasn't on my machine. Running eudcedit.exe will open a primitive but functional font editor. It's found in the latest versions of Windows 2000 and XP. Like I said, it's not made for creating consistent, typographically perfect sets, but it will allow you to open and create font sets. I found a good article on the details over at the University of Heidelberg, for no apparent reason.
