Free PC to Phone Calls with AdCalls
There are a number of different PC to PC voice-calling options available these days, including 
Skype and the upstart Google Talk. While Google Talk does not at this time support calling to a regular telephone, Skype allows you to do so, for a small fee. But if you're looking for a way to make completely free PC to telephone calls anywhere in the US, including long-distance calls, check out AdCalls. AdCalls is a small application that you download to your local computer. When you use it to make a call, an ad is displayed, and it is this ad that pays for your call.
Similar business models have been tried in the past, without much success. Let's hope this one lasts - it's great to have a free calling alternative.
