NewsMac Pro RSS Reader for OSX
NewsMac Pro is a really slick and feature-packed newsreader for OSX, and it just recently turned 1.1. For those of you who want it all, this app's got it: podcast player and iTunes integration, smart folders, nested folders, themes, a feed-rating system, built-in browser as well as syncing with a Palm or an iDisk. I hate to say it, but after playing around with it for a couple days this just might be the reader that can drag me away from NetNewsWire.

Very sleek RSS Reader indeed. I tried it for a couple of days, but for my tastes it was a little too complex. I am an avid NewsFire user and although the updates are rare these days, it still is my RSS reader of choice. It does what I want it to do nice and simple (the only thing missing are more advanced "smart" features).

Try NewsFire. It's the most simple RSS reader there is. Why spend time with zillions of window when you just want to read the news. NewsFire does one thing, and one thing well. NewsMac has too many things going on and no real simple keyboard shortcuts to make reading the news fast and simple. it looks like a lot of eye candy to me.

NewsMac Pro is a pretty nice piece of software, but it's missing one big feature I like from NetNewsWire... Blog Editor integration (MarsEdit, Ecto, etc..).
