Mod of the Day: Desktop Shell Replacement - BBLean
Windows desktop shell replacements have been around for a long time. Maybe the most famous of them was Litestep, and there continues to be a thriving community of developers intent on improving on the job Explorer.exe does in presenting our programs to us. BBLean is the most popular shell replacement based on Black Box, and it values efficiency and small size above all else. It has a slick, clean and fast interface, with numerous built in color schemes. If you're tired of the taskbar & Start button, maybe give BBLean a try.

I Used to use BBLean for about 3 months some time again, but when you install it as your default shell opening up explorer file manager can be rather lagged, this shell would be great if there was a freely available filemanager replacement that does not rely on anything other than simply being installed. Apart from that BBLean is a great shell to play around with if you are up for a change, the multiple desktops is a great feature you wont want to leave :-)
