Orb offers open Add-Ons API

The folks over at Orb wrote to let us know that they're offering an open Add-ons API which will allow developers to extend Orb's media streaming capabilities to a wide range of applications. Via the API, you can code your own Add-on to stream content from a variety of programs to any Web-connected device with a Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, or 3gp player that supports streaming .sdp files (Quicktime, e.g.).
