Apple sells 1 million songs in 4 days in Japan

itunes logoMacCentral is reporting that Apple has sold 1 million songs in Japan only 4 days after launching their iTunes Music Store there. Even though their prices work out to about $1.80 and $2.70/song (I have no idea how the Japanese economy or exchange rates work with this) they apparently are selling "twice as many songs in just four days as all the other online music services in Japan sell in one month.”

Wow, kudos guys. America took a full week. Just don't let the greedy labels raise the prices.
