Loudblog: Blogging app just for podcasts

Loudblog is a blogging app like Wordpress or Movable Type, but tailored specifically for podcasting. As blogging apps go, it's pretty vanilla, with only the basic features: posting, editing, comments, templates, and a few others. But what Loudblog is really good at is uploading and managing your podcasts and publishing a basic blog and RSS feed to go with them. The latest version, Loudblog 0.3, features support for the new RSS tags Apple added in iTunes 4.9.
Loudblog lacks support for trackbacks, which the developers are dismissive of, but I think it's a mistake. Other than that, though, it looks like a great open source tool for the serious-podcaster-but-casual-blogger.

I'm not sure if Gerrit really does not want them, but I think for a relativly fresh application a more complicated thing as trackbacks may take some time.
While I would say yes to this on ever other blogging plattform, I did not miss it on loudblog (we use it for sushiradio.com). Why? Mainly because most of the listeners of podcast perhaps write an email or sometimes a comment. It is very unlikely for many listener to write about it on their own blogs - because very often they don't even have one.
For me, loudblog is the perfect application when you want to do just a podcast (and a little blogging for the tools around it). If you are a more serious blogger you will be unhappy with many other 'lacking' features and go for a full bloated blog solution - which also hacks in the podcast feeds the way you like them. :)
