Netflix testing movie downloads?

Here's a juicy Monday rumor: Is Netflix testing movie downloads? A reader sent in a screenshot to Hacking Netflix which depicts a registration dialog that they encountered on their account settings page for something called "Netflix Player," and another reader claims to have spotted a "Downloadables" genre while browsing. The biggest question -- other than "is this for real?" -- is whether this Netflix Player is hardware or software. My first thought was software, either an in-browser movie viewer or a stand-alone media player app, but the "Name your box" field seems to suggest a set-top box that you would connect to your TV.
