Launch Widgets the Quicksilver Way
For those of you out there (like me) who don't really dig Apple's default interface for finding and launching widgets, check out this macosxhints.com article detailing a great alternative method using Quicksilver. Long story short, you can basically add your widgets folder(s) (system and/or your user) to Quicksilver's custom list of files/folders to index, and bam: instant access with no more icky Dashboard well to deal with.If you're at all familiar with the application launching/file manipulating goodness that is Quicksilver, this will probably strike you (like it did me) as way too simple of a remedy. Oh well.. sometimes the simplest solutions truly are the best.
