Nvu 1.0 released

nvupicConsider it the Poor Man's DreamWeaver. I had this sitting in my applications folder for a while now, back when it was in beta. But beta no more, Nvu 1.0 has been officially released.

Nvu is a simple web page builder. However, it is a solid WYSIWYG editor easy enough for web newbies. The GUI actually reminds me of a stripped-down DreamWeaver. The cost? Totally free.

It's all possible thanks to Linspire, the chief backer of Nvu. And while Linspire makes their own OS (a derivative of Linux), they aren't stingy with Nvu. It's available for Linux, Windows, and Mac.
