Monolingual: Eliminate languages from OS X

Mac OS X ships with its core applications in dozens of languages, but chances are you're only interested in using one or, if you like to spice things up once in awhile, two. Monolingual is a small app for OS X which removes translations you don't want and frees up a couple hundred megs of hard drive space. It's open-source, too.

interesting idea.
but does anyone know if this removes the languages character sets?
will i still be able to see chinese/japanese/russian/etc web pages fine?
and how easy is it to reinstall the languages if you need them later on?

Whatever you do, DON'T delete "Roman" characters.

Wow. This removed 1.6 GB worth of useless crap from my computer. I am very happy.
