AutoPatcher XP June 2005
They say that it takes only 11 seconds for a fresh install of Windows XP to get exploited once connected to the internet. That's hardly enough time to hit Windows Update and download the dozens of patches you'll need to avoid those very exploits. Enter AutoPatcher XP, the June 2005 update of which has just been released. AutoPatcher comes with all of the Windows security patches in one download and allows you to "upgrade" your Windows installation disc with a process called "slipstreaming," so that when you finally make that fresh install you'll already be about as secure as you're likely to be while running Windows. AutoPatcher also comes with a bunch of extra (optional) utilities, add-ons, and registry tweaks that will make using Windows more fun. I can't recommend it enough.
There's also a version of AutoPatcher for Windows 2000 which was also updated today.
